During the program, 500 people from poor and disadvantaged households and ethnic minorities were examined, tested for blood sugar, measured electrocardiogram, had ultrasound, examined gynecologically, provided health consultation and prescribed medication by doctors from Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy. In addition, to help people proactively take care of their health, the Organizing Committee also presented 5 medicine cabinets to poor households.
On this occasion, the Organizing Committee also presented 500 glasses for the elderly; 500 new clothes; 200 Ao Dai and 500 gifts including rice, cooking oil and milk. The Provincial Women's Union presented 2 gifts to Phuoc Tan Border Guard Station and Vam Trang Trau Border Guard Station.
The total cost of organizing the program is more than 450 million VND, supported by sponsors.
