- On the morning of June 30, the Provincial Association of Literature, Arts and Journalists held a conference to review the work of the first 6 months of the year, deploy directions and tasks for the last 6 months of the year and an expanded Executive Committee (EC) meeting to collect comments on draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; Draft political report of the 18th National Party Congress of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2025 - 2030 with the participation of the Executive Committee of the Association of Literature, Arts and Journalists and the Executive Committees of 6 affiliated branches, the secretariat of the journalist branches, and the Executive Committee of the Senior Journalists Club.
According to the report at the conference, in the first 6 months of the year, the Literature and Arts Association and the Journalists Association were merged into the Provincial Literature and Arts and Journalists Association. After the merger, the personnel work was gradually streamlined and internally stable, thereby successfully performing all assigned tasks and achieving many high achievements. Including advising on the successful organization of the 100th Anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; meeting and praising exemplary journalists and many groups and individuals who won journalism awards and were commended.
Notably, 50 members, young authors, and new writers won provincial journalism awards; the collective of the Provincial Literature, Arts and Journalists Association, 11 outstanding members were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; 46 works of members won the Award for composing and promoting literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in Lang Son province for the period 2023 - 2025; 15 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations for their outstanding and exemplary achievements and contributions to the development of literature and arts in Lang Son province after the country's reunification...
At the conference, the Provincial Association of Literature, Arts and Journalists held an expanded Executive Committee meeting to collect comments on the draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress and the draft Political Report submitted to the 18th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
In particular, focusing on discussing and contributing opinions on key contents in the draft reports such as: clarifying more about achievements, limitations, causes, lessons learned after 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress; general development goals, main development goals for the period 2026 - 2030 of the country and the province; results of Party building work during the 13th National Party Congress term.
In particular, regarding the Draft Political Report submitted to the 18th Provincial Party Congress, opinions focused on issues such as: clarifying further the results, limitations, and directions for implementing land use planning projects, especially rural agricultural land; paying attention to preserving the languages, writings, costumes, beliefs, and festivals of ethnic minorities in the province. Special attention should be paid to the economic, cultural, and spiritual lives of rural people after the revolution of rearranging commune-level administrative units and implementing the two-level local government model.
