Conference to collect comments on the draft Political Report of the 16th Congress of Son La Provincial Trade Union.

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the 16th Provincial Trade Union Congress is scheduled to take place in mid-December 2025. This is a broad, democratic political activity of special importance to more than 12,000 union members and workers in the province. The Congress will evaluate the implementation of the Congress's resolution of the previous term, set out the direction of activities for the new term, elect the Executive Committee of the 16th Provincial Trade Union, participate in giving opinions on amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union and elect a delegation to attend the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has proactively and urgently prepared contents to serve the Provincial Congress; established the Document Subcommittee, Personnel Subcommittee and Propaganda-Organization Subcommittee to serve the Congress; focused on drafting documents, completing the draft political report, review report, and sending for comments from agencies, departments, and organizations in the province.

Former leaders of the Provincial Federation of Labor contributed opinions to the congress' political report.

The draft political report submitted to the Congress is structured into 2 parts: The situation of union members, workers and the implementation of the Resolution of the Son La Provincial Trade Union Congress for the period 2023-2025; goals, directions and tasks for the term 2025-2030, in which 10 groups of targets, 3 breakthroughs and 7 groups of tasks and solutions are proposed.

At the Conference, delegates focused on discussing and contributing opinions on key contents such as: Congress theme; political report layout; targets and action programs for the 2025-2030 term; clarifying the results of trade union activities in the past term, along with a number of other contents related to Congress preparation work.

Comments at the conference will be compiled, absorbed and researched to supplement and perfect the Political Report of the 16th Congress of the Son La Provincial Trade Union, ensuring comprehensiveness, depth and closeness to the province's reality.
