Conference to review the Draft Project for Hoi An Construction

At the conference, delegates contributed many ideas to the Draft Project developed by the City People's Committee to be submitted at the upcoming City People's Council meeting.

Opinions expressed agreement and basically approved the draft project, emphasizing the viewpoint of building Hoi An - a creative city on the basis of inheriting, preserving and promoting cultural heritage with the core being the World Cultural Heritage of Hoi An ancient town and the world biosphere reserve of Cu Lao Cham - Hoi An, considering creativity and creative cultural development as resources and driving forces for sustainable socio -economic development, while strengthening international integration, enhancing the position and image of Hoi An domestically and internationally.

The comments also contributed to editing and supplementing the content of the legal basis for building the project; on the viewpoint of building and developing community creativity among the people; on high-quality goals that are beneficial to the people; on a number of valuable and potential crafts and folk art forms in people's lives; on specific tasks such as infrastructure, cultural institutions for creative practice, on research and development of cultural industries, creative startups; on the application of policies and mechanisms to encourage creative development; on investment resources, creating and expanding practical and effective creative spaces and environments that are suitable to the indigenous cultural values of Hoi An; on a more reasonable layout and structure of the draft...

The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the City People's Committee highly appreciated and fully accepted the enthusiastic opinions of the delegates at this critical conference.
