
The conference was connected online to nearly 4,000 locations at the central, provincial, and commune levels across the country.
Attending the conference at the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee Hall were: Nguyen Hoai Anh, Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; and Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee: Luu Van Trung, Dang Hong Sy, and Bui Thang.

Also attending were leaders of the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee; members of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies, the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Council, the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, the Party Committee of the Political School, the Party Committee of the Lam Dong Newspaper and Radio and Television Station; leaders and officials at the departmental level of the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee, and the advisory and support agencies of the Party Committee of the Provincial Party Agencies.

In Lam Dong province, the conference was connected to the following locations: the Provincial Police Party Committee; the Provincial Military Command Party Committee; the Provincial People's Committee Hall; and communes, wards, and special zones throughout the province.

In his opening remarks, Comrade Vo Thanh Hung, Deputy Chief of the Central Party Office, emphasized: The conference aims to contribute to improving the digital capacity of cadres and civil servants working in Party affairs at all levels, helping them master AI technology.

This will contribute to the successful implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science , technology, innovation, and digital transformation, and the major policies of the Central Steering Committee on science, technology, and innovation development.

The conference aims to raise awareness of the role, potential, and application direction of AI in innovation and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of work for officials and employees at Party committees and agencies at all levels.

In addition, the course equips learners with basic knowledge and skills in using several popular AI tools to support tasks such as: consulting, information synthesis, text analysis, drafting, and proposing solutions for work purposes.

At the same time, it contributes to shaping the right attitude towards the responsible, safe, and secure use of AI, in line with political and legal guidelines in the context of digital transformation.

At the conference, delegates received instruction from senior lecturers and principal lecturers of the University of Technology, Vietnam National University, Hanoi on the following topics: Overview and role of AI in Party work (basic concepts, development trends, application scenarios of AI in research, consultation, synthesis, and document analysis); and exploration of popular AI tools currently available (ChatGPT, Gemini, Notion AI, Canva AI).

In addition, delegates also received training in applying several AI tools to support advisory work, document compilation and analysis, report writing, planning, and document synthesis.
The delegates attending the training were also briefed on the responsible use of AI, ensuring confidentiality, ethics, and compliance with regulations. They also received answers to their questions and shared experiences on using AI in Party work.
According to the plan, the first phase of the conference will be held on September 9th and 10th, and the second phase on September 11th and 12th.
