Online Conference of the Organizing Committee of the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements to Celebrate the 80th Anniversary of National Day September 2

On the afternoon of June 11, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a national online conference of the Organizing Committee of the Socio-Economic Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Comrade Nguyen Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism chaired the conference.

At the conference, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism announced the Decision to establish the Organizing Committee; draft plan to organize the Exhibition of Socio -Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025). Accordingly, the exhibition of socio-economic achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) will be held from August 28 to September 5, 2025. The exhibition opens at 9:00 a.m. on August 28 and closes at 8:00 p.m. on September 5. The exhibition displays and introduces socio-economic achievements in 80 years of building, defending and developing the country, with the participation of ministries, departments, branches and localities... At the exhibition, there are supporting activities, including: Fairs, food stalls, tourism, handicrafts; art programs; bilateral contacts, conferences, seminars.

Speaking at the conference, delegates focused on the following ideas: Early agreement and assessment of the content of the implementation outline; specific determination of the exhibition location and conditions for exhibition activities; preparations being carried out for the exhibition...

Concluding the conference, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung stated: This is a major exhibition on the country's socio-economic development achievements, with the participation of all ministries, branches, localities, enterprises... The organization of the exhibition needs to be carried out scientifically . Therefore, units need to promptly deploy preparation work according to the assigned content; send working groups to implement, survey the exhibition space to arrange, organize and develop a plan suitable to actual conditions; establish a focal point to regularly contact, exchange, and resolve work with the Organizing Committee... On the part of the Organizing Committee, the progress of specific tasks will be accelerated to ensure progress according to the requirements.
