Thai News owner Ubolnadda Supawan said the 53-year-old newspaper had to cut its staff from 30 to 10 reporters and switch from a daily to a weekly after the pandemic. “We now publish 20,000 copies of the newspaper every week. We have pushed the digital newspaper more, and most of our reporters work remotely instead of coming to the newsroom. Our revenue still comes mainly from advertising and newspaper distribution,” Ubolnadda Supawan said.
