Speaking at the congress, Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Kien Giang province Do Tran Thinh requested that the Farmers' Associations at all levels in An Minh district continue to build and strengthen the association's organization, improve the quality and effectiveness of the activities of grassroots associations, branches and groups in residential areas. Comrade Do Tran Thinh suggested that the Farmers' Association at all levels in An Minh district focus on directing and improving the quality of the association's patriotic emulation movements, focusing on the movement of farmers competing in production and good business, uniting to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty to continue affirming the central role and position of the Farmers' Association in the farmers' movement and the cause of building new rural areas...

The congress set targets for the 2023-2028 term: Farmers' Associations at all levels in An Minh district strive to develop 6,000 members; 100% of commune and town associations successfully complete their tasks; 100% of branch presidents are Party members. Introduce outstanding and exemplary cadres, members, and good farmers and businessmen for the Party to consider admitting 25 comrades.

Strive to have 100% of the association bases do a good job of mobilizing members and farmers to carry out the tasks of building new rural areas and protecting the environment. The Standing Committee of the Farmers' Association of Kien Giang province presented the Farmers' Association of An Minh district with 700 million VND to support members and farmers in implementing 2 projects in 2023, including the project to develop mud-free eel farming and environmentally friendly rice cultivation.
