In May, standing anywhere on Son Tra Peninsula ( Da Nang City), visitors can admire the colorful picture "painted" by flowers and leaves of endemic plants.
Each patch of forest seems to be changing color amidst the green space. Purple sim flowers, red royal poinciana, and the forest of chò chỉ... are brilliant with pink mixed with the forest of thanh mat trees (white sua) blooming with purple flowers, creating a rare romantic scene.
This season, from the top of Son Tra you can admire the beautiful scenery.

Blending into the scene, the red-shanked douc langurs - a primate endemic to Son Tra - are happily swinging from branch to branch in search of food. During this season, it is not difficult to see "languor families" swinging on branches, leisurely reaching for young leaves.
This is also the time when photographers flock to "hunt" for unique moments. However, not everyone is lucky enough to catch and capture these valuable photos.
Young chò leaves (also known as red leaves) and milky white chò flowers are one of the favorite dishes of the "primate queen" the red-shanked douc langur on Son Tra peninsula.

About 10 km northeast of the city center, Son Tra peninsula - the "green lung" of Da Nang, is home to more than 1,000 plant species and 531 animal species.
In particular, with an altitude of nearly 700 m, Son Tra peninsula has the characteristics of a tropical coastal forest, the climate changes according to the time of day: morning like spring, noon is summer, afternoon has autumn colors and evening like winter.
Thanh Nien would like to introduce a series of photos capturing the scene of a group of red-shanked douc langurs swinging from branch to branch under the forest canopy of Son Tra peninsula to look for food:
