The Party Committee of Agribank Insurance successfully organized its 4th Congress of Delegates.

Agribank Insurance Party Committee has just held the 4th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term.

In his opening remarks at the Congress, Nguyen Tien Hai, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance, emphasized: “During the 2020-2025 term, the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance has clearly demonstrated its role as the political nucleus, providing comprehensive and effective leadership in all aspects of operations. The completion and exceeding of many targets set forth in the Resolution of the 3rd Party Congress not only shows the internal strength of all cadres and Party members but also affirms the prestige, character, and responsibility of a strong Party Committee.”

From the beginning of the term, Party building has always been identified by the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance as a key task. Over the past five years, the Party Committee has admitted 68 new Party members, achieving 100% of the set target, contributing to strengthening the political force within the enterprise. The classification of grassroots Party organizations and Party members has been implemented seriously, objectively, and transparently. The percentage of Party branches that successfully complete their tasks or better consistently reaches 80% to 100%, with 100% and 95.5% in 2023 and 2024 respectively. Regarding individuals, the percentage of Party members who successfully complete their tasks annually has consistently remained above 90%, notably reaching 97.3% in 2022 and 93.5% in 2024.

Emphasizing the leading role of the Party organization in the development of the enterprise, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai affirmed: “A strong Party committee is the foundation for a sustainable enterprise. The success of Agribank Insurance in recent years is a direct result of the close, innovative, and decisive leadership of the Party committees at all levels. Each cadre and Party member is the bridge between Party ideology and concrete actions, spreading the spirit of “responsibility and sharing” to each customer and each citizen.”

According to Le Hong Quan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Member of the Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance: by 2024, Agribank Insurance will have established 21 branches as targeted in the Resolution; restructured its organizational structure to meet legal and market requirements, aiming to upgrade its operating model to a Corporation. Financially, all targets have been met and exceeded: charter capital reached VND 724 billion; insurance business revenue in 2024 reached VND 2,432 billion, ensuring an average growth rate of over 8% per year compared to the beginning of the term; pre-tax profit reached VND 256 billion; return on equity (ROE) reached 13.3%; and minimum dividends reached 14% per year. Agribank Insurance also focuses on ensuring stable and reasonable income for employees, linked to efficiency, quality, and labor productivity.

From 2020 to the present, the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance has consistently been recognized by the Standing Committee of the Agribank Party Committee as having successfully completed its tasks; in 2023, it was rated as having excellently completed its tasks. The affiliated organizations such as the Trade Union and the Youth Union have also consistently performed well and excellently in their assigned tasks, making positive contributions to the emulation movement and the building of corporate culture.

Entering a new term, the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance has determined to continue innovating leadership methods, enhancing the capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, and constantly promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of Party members in all fields. The focus is on continuing to review and reorganize the organizational structure towards a streamlined and professional approach; rationally allocating personnel and business areas to ensure effective after-sales service; emphasizing the training and development of a team of cadres with professional qualifications and political integrity; perfecting operational procedures; strengthening inspection, supervision, risk management, and improving operational efficiency.

Simultaneously, the Party Committee will direct the acceleration of digital transformation in all activities related to underwriting, claims processing, and risk control; promote research and development of new insurance products suitable for the Bancassurance channel; and continue to ensure stable livelihoods and income for employees. Specific goals set for the new term include: 100% of subordinate Party organizations completing their tasks annually, with at least 80% achieving a good performance rating; 80% or more of Party members achieving a good performance rating; recruiting at least 25 new Party members each year; and achieving a minimum annual insurance revenue growth rate of 10%, an average annual pre-tax profit increase of 4%, a minimum dividend of 10% per share per year, and a minimum annual total asset growth of 5%.

Comrade Nguyen Tien Hai, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance, delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

Delivering a keynote address at the Congress, Mr. Pham Duc Tuan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Agribank Trade Union, acknowledged and commended the outstanding achievements of Agribank Insurance in the past period. He also emphasized that, under the leadership of the Party Committee, Agribank Insurance has overcome many difficulties and challenges such as natural disasters, storms, and floods, especially the heavy damage caused by Typhoon Yagi , to stabilize business operations and continuously increase its charter capital. Furthermore, the unit has always received strong support and cooperation from the Agribank leadership, creating an important impetus for its development.

Over the past period, Agribank Insurance has also seriously and effectively implemented the requirements set forth by the Inspection Committee, thereby maintaining its position as a unit that has performed well and excellently in fulfilling its assigned tasks. Mr. Pham Duc Tuan suggested that Agribank Insurance should continue to strengthen the leadership role of the Party, promote the fighting capacity of the Party organization within the enterprise; proactively identify advantages and difficulties, and prepare contingency plans to respond to objective risks in order to build a development strategy consistent with Agribank's overall orientation - focusing on the people, agriculture, and rural areas. In particular, Mr. Pham Duc Tuan emphasized the requirement for Agribank Insurance to accelerate digital transformation and apply modern technology in product development, in order to serve the bank and the people more effectively - quickly, accurately, and promptly.

The Congress elected the Party Committee Executive Board for the 2025-2030 term with 6 members; elected 2 delegates to attend the higher-level Party Congress; and unanimously adopted the Congress Resolution.

At its first meeting, the Party Committee Executive Board for the 2025-2030 term elected Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Agribank Insurance, to continue serving as Secretary of the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance for the 2025-2030 term; elected Mr. Le Hong Quan, a full-time member of the Board of Directors, to serve as Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Agribank Insurance for the 2025-2030 term; and elected three comrades to the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of Agribank Insurance for the 2025-2030 term. Mr. Le Hong Quan was elected as the Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of Agribank Insurance.
