The agricultural and OCOP product fair took place on August 24 and 25, with nearly 40 booths of the Farmers' Associations of districts in Da Nang city and the Farmers' Associations of Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue provinces. The fair also had product booths of branches and professional associations, booths displaying and promoting scientific and technological achievements in the field of agricultural production, and digital transformation booths.
Products on display at the fair include OCOP products from production facilities, handicraft products, consumer goods from the Farmers’ Association, and a special culinary area of Da Nang City. This is an opportunity for units to meet, exchange, cooperate in business, invest, and promote products to consumers.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Thiet, Chairman of the Da Nang Farmers’ Association, said that this year there are more diverse products than previous years. The Association has invested in more booths and called on more localities such as Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue provinces to bring their local specialties to the exhibition.
“Recently, the Da Nang Farmers’ Association has focused on developing various types of cooperatives, especially strengthening the construction of cooperative groups between different industries, to increase connections and move towards forming small-scale industrial cooperatives, as well as agricultural and forestry cooperatives. Thereby, helping farmers to consume more of their products,” Mr. Thiet informed.
