Dak Lak Salanganes Nest Association: Signing cooperation agreement on supply and export of salanganes nests

On the afternoon of December 16, Dak Lak Salanganes Nest Association held a workshop to connect supply chains for exporting bird's nests - bird's nest house techniques - care and operation to improve the quality of bird's nests.

Attending the workshop were Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Hoai Duong; representatives of leaders of departments and branches; and many members of the Association.

After a period of rapid development, output increased rapidly, combined with economic difficulties, so the consumption of bird's nest products began to be difficult, and prices began to decrease.

Faced with that situation, finding new solutions, finding new directions, especially diversifying products and expanding consumer markets, becomes more urgent than ever.

Connecting supply chains will help increase the province's bird's nest export capacity, creating favorable conditions for bird's nest exporting enterprises to access international markets. Connecting supply will help improve quality, meeting market standards. Along with that, developing the bird's nest industry also creates more jobs and increases income for people.

Mr. Pham Van Hau, Chairman of Dak Lak Salanganes Nest Association, hopes that the workshop will provide a lot of knowledge and useful information to help salanganes nest farmers further improve the quality of their nests, as well as connect salanganes nest farmers with salanganes nest exporting enterprises.

Thereby, helping people stabilize the output of bird's nests, contributing to the sustainable development of the province's bird's nest industry and increasingly reaching out to international markets.

Speaking at the workshop, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development Nguyen Hoai Duong congratulated the Dak Lak Salanganes Nest Association on signing a cooperation agreement on the supply and export of salanganes nests with partners who have been, are and will be officially exporting salanganes nests to the Chinese market.

In order for the Dak Lak bird's nest brand to develop to its full potential, he requested the association, businesses, and establishments to always strictly comply with the regulations of the Animal Husbandry Law, Veterinary Law, decrees, and guiding documents. He hoped that bird's nest farming establishments would aim for sustainable development, invest in facilities, and aim for high-quality products.
