(DN) - On the morning of June 13, Dong Nai Hydrometeorological Station forecasted that the weather in the province today will be cloudy, with intermittent sunshine, widespread rain and localized thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, it is necessary to be on guard against tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

The weather in Bien Hoa city, Long Khanh city and the districts: Tan Phu, Cam My, Long Thanh, Vinh Cuu is cloudy, with showers during the day. The remaining districts are cloudy and have no rain during the day.

Director of Dong Nai Hydrometeorological Station Nguyen Phuoc Huy said that storm No. 1 (Wutip) did not directly affect the weather in the province. However, due to the influence of the southwest wind that was strengthened by storm No. 1, the weather in the province was rainier.

At 7:00 a.m. on June 13, the center of the storm was located at approximately 18.2 degrees North latitude; 108.7 degrees East longitude, in the sea southwest of Hainan Island (China). The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 10 (89-102 km/h), gusting to level 13, moving in a North-Northwest direction at a speed of 10-15 km/h.

Northwest of the North East Sea area, offshore waters from Quang Tri to Da Nang have strong winds of level 6-8, near the storm center level 9-10, gusts of level 13, waves 3-5m high,

The area near the storm center is 4-6m high, the sea is very rough. The sea area of ​​Bac Bo Gulf has strong winds of level 6-7, the area near the storm center is level 8-10, gusting to level 13, the waves are 2-4m high, especially in the East 3-5m high, the sea is very rough.

Ships operating in the above mentioned dangerous areas are likely to be affected by storms, whirlwinds, strong winds and large waves.

Due to the impact of high tides and storm surges, provinces from Hai Phong to Nghe An are likely to experience high sea levels (Hon Dau: 3.9m, Hon Ngu: 2.8m) causing localized flooding in some low-lying coastal and river mouth areas between 5-7pm on June 13 and 14.
