According to information from the Vietnam Military History Museum, during the 5-day holiday, the museum served 147,750 visitors, including more than 1,000 international visitors.
In particular, the museum welcomed the Political Delegation of the Cuban Revolutionary Armed Forces.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the Vietnam Military History Museum has offered free admission to visitors from April 30 to May 4.
This activity aims to contributeto educating and spreading the patriotic tradition, spirit and significance of the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising to the public, domestic and international visitors.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Military History Museum organized the distribution of national flags, liberation flags and leaflets introducing QR codes of the museum building architecture and typical artifacts in the resistance war against the US to save the country.
In addition, the museum also applies technology, introducing Audioguide automatic explanation software of artifacts related to the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising on handheld devices and smartphones, in two languages: English and Vietnamese.
Through the application of technology in sightseeing activities, the Vietnam Military History Museum wishes to best serve the public, domestic and foreign tourists to experience learning about history and stories of artifacts.
This contributes to promoting the value of the project, making the Vietnam Military History Museum a red address for educating the public about revolutionary traditions; promoting the humanistic values of the Vietnamese military to international friends.
