Over 17.5 billion VND to support medical human resource training

Hai Duong will support more than 17.5 billion VND to train human resources in the health sector this year.

Medical staff in Hai Duong will be supported with training to improve their professional qualifications.

According to the Hai Duong Department of Health , in 2025, the province will support the training of human resources in the medical sector with a total budget of more than 17.5 billion VND. This plan aims to implement Resolution No. 39/2024/HDND dated December 11, 2024 of the Provincial People's Council stipulating policies to support training, attract and treat medical human resources at public agencies and units under the management of the province for the period 2025 - 2030.

Support for medical human resource training in 2025 is implemented under 3 programs. Including support for 260 training sessions to continuously update medical knowledge, basic specialist training, advanced specialist training; support for medical doctor university training for 52 people and support for postgraduate training for 222 people.

Support training to improve skills and professional qualifications for medical staff, contributing to ensuring health development goals. The health sector has also attracted 14 doctors to work at health centers and health stations from the above resolution.

Hai Duong's health sector aims to have 15 or more doctors per 10,000 people and 5 university pharmacists per 10,000 people by the end of 2025. The proportion of doctors with postgraduate qualifications will reach 54% or more, and 100% of health stations will have doctors.
