More than 317 billion VND invested in building a rest stop on Quy Nhon highway

Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh Expressway Rest Stop was built in Xuan Lam Commune, Song Cau Town, Phu Yen Province with a total investment of more than 317 billion VND.

On November 25, Project Management Board 85 (investor, under the Ministry of Transport ) announced that it is inviting bids to implement the investment project to operate the rest stop at Km 41+500 of the Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh component project.

The rest stop on the Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh highway will be invested with a total area of nearly 106,000m2.

Specifically, the rest stop location is built on both sides of the expressway at Km 41+500 in Xuan Lam commune, Song Cau town, Phu Yen province. In which, the area on each side of the route is about 53,000m2 (land area for construction of functional subdivisions is 41,500m2).

The total investment capital of the project is over 317 billion VND, of which the project implementation cost is over 312 billion VND. The remaining amount is for site clearance.

The current status of the land for project implementation is production forest land, site clearance has not been carried out. Project implementation progress is 15 months.

At the rest stop on the Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh highway, public service works (providing free services) are expected to be deployed, including: Parking lot; resting space; temporary rest room for drivers; toilet area; information area; and on-duty area for rescue and first aid staff in traffic accidents.

The project also includes commercial service facilities, including: Food and beverage service area; product display and sales area; fuel station; electric vehicle charging station; vehicle maintenance and repair workshop; car wash; restaurant; entertainment area; children's play area.

There are also supporting works, symbols of the locality or of rest stops; places for production and processing of local specialties; places for community activities (organizing fairs, cultural activities); supporting works in the investment incentive category.

The Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh Expressway project has a total length of nearly 62km (not including the 5.1km section through Cu Mong tunnel), passing through two provinces: Binh Dinh (nearly 20km) and Phu Yen province (more than 42km).
