More than 400 students of Dong Nai University are supported with living expenses up to 145 million VND.

(DN) - On the afternoon of August 7, Dr. Vo Van Ly, Vice Principal of Dong Nai University, said that the school has 401 students receiving living allowances according to Decree 116/2020/ND-CP dated September 25, 2020 of the Government on regulations on policies to support tuition fees and living expenses for pedagogical students.

Accordingly, these are 11th-grade pedagogical students (2021-2025), majoring in the following fields: Mathematics Pedagogy, Physics Pedagogy, Chemistry Pedagogy, Literature Pedagogy, History Pedagogy, Preschool Education, Primary Education. These students have all graduated as of July 2025.

The duration of the living expenses support is determined by the actual number of months of study at the school, which is 40 months/full course, with a support level of 3,630,000 VND/month. Thus, the maximum amount of support a student can receive is up to 145.2 million VND.

To prepare for the support money, Dong Nai University requires students on the list to complete entering information into the school's student management software (student's main account number, beneficiary, bank name) before August 11, 2025, and come to the school to verify bank account information.

Previously, these students had applied for living expenses support at the beginning of the course and were approved by Dong Nai University. This list was then approved by the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Finance according to regulations and the Provincial People's Committee agreed to provide funding.
