It is known that the previous DH 34B road was narrow, many sections were degraded, causing difficulties for people and vehicles. Faced with this reality, the People's Committee of Hiep Hoa commune has allocated a budget to invest in renovating and upgrading this road.

According to the design, the upgraded and renovated route is more than 6 km long, including 2 sections. Of which, section 1, starting point from Km0+00 intersects with National Highway 37 in Khanh village, Hiep Hoa commune; the end point is at Km1+460 intersects with Hiep Hoa commune's main road.
Section 2 starts at Km0+00, intersecting with Hiep Hoa commune's main road; ends at Km4+690 of beltway 1 in Duc Nghiem village, Hoang Van commune.
DH 34B Road is expanded on the old existing foundation, with a 12 cm thick crushed stone base layer, 9 m wide roadbed, and 7 m wide asphalt concrete road surface.
The route has a longitudinal and transverse drainage system; two intersections at the beginning and end of the route; a traffic light system at intersections with existing residential roads; traffic signs, markers, etc.
It is known that the project to renovate and upgrade DH 34B road does not have funds for site clearance, so the commune government is actively propagating and mobilizing local people to dismantle the surrounding walls, cut down trees and ancillary works, and donate land to create a site for the contractor to construct.
The project is expected to be completed in October this year, helping people travel and transport goods conveniently, ensuring traffic safety, contributing to promoting socio -economic development in the area.
