People's Artist Hong Van said during the opening performance of the new stage called Hong Van Drama Stage at the Ho Chi Minh City Student Cultural House (old Long Van Theater) located at 643 Dien Bien Phu, Ward 1, District 3, Ho Chi Minh City. "I invited artist Hong Dao to join me in the musical "Bong Canh Co" directed by Le Nguyen Tuan Anh, compiled from the work of the same name by the late musician - Meritorious Artist Bac Son. This is a reunion after many years between me and Hong Dao, together supporting the young actors that I have trained in the past" - People's Artist Hong Van informed.

The day Hong Dao reunited with her family to go to America, the owner of Phu Nhuan Drama Theater suppressed her emotions while happily seeing her best friend off stage and in real life to the airport.
"We have maintained a close relationship since then, although we rarely have the opportunity to act together because Hong Dao has settled in the US. I occasionally go there to travel or visit my children, so we meet and chat. This time I will have the opportunity to accompany my close friend. Previously, during the auditions of the acting courses I trained, Hong Dao came to watch and commented, encouraging the young generation very enthusiastically" - Hong Van expressed.
Recently, in the program "Happy Memories", the two artists recalled their youth, when they were not only a perfect pair on stage but also "paired up" to do makeup for weddings.
After graduating, Hong Van worked as a hairdresser at Dong Kinh salon, and Hong Dao often came to help her. Both of them have so many memories of the stage and this time they will perform and sing together the music of musician Bac Son.
The show opened on September 16, then ran all week until September 23 with the participation of actors: Minh Luan, Thanh Duy, Tuan Anh, Lac Hoang Long, Tuan Dung, Le Loc, Hoang Yen.
