Meeting of the Steering Committee of the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Ninh Thuan Province, 2024

On the morning of November 16, the Steering Committee of the 4th Provincial Ethnic Minority Congress in 2024 held a meeting to unify some contents to prepare for the congress. Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Congress Steering Committee chaired the meeting.

According to the report of the Provincial Ethnic Committee, up to now, the preparation work for the congress has been basically carried out according to the progress, content and plan set out. Specifically, the opening and closing speeches of the Provincial Party Committee leaders have been completed; political reports and resolutions of the congress, reports of groups and individuals; scripts, layouts, decorations; selection of special products of ethnic minorities to display at the congress; content and regulations of the congress; invitations and badges of the congress. The congress is expected to be held in two days, from November 21-22, with 336 delegates attending.

At the meeting, delegates discussed a number of issues related to the organization of the congress such as: Propaganda work; implementation of procedures and documents for purchasing gifts for delegates attending the congress according to regulations; logistics, service, security and order, rewards, etc.

Comrade Nguyen Long Bien, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

In his concluding remarks at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged the sense of responsibility and efforts of the Steering Committee members in preparing for the congress. For the congress to be successful and to ensure the set goals, he suggested that from now until the opening day of the congress, it is necessary to focus on promoting propaganda work; relevant units need to strengthen the work of ensuring security and order before, during and after the congress. The Provincial Ethnic Committee continues to review the official delegates attending, the number of awards for typical individuals and groups; pay attention to arranging accommodation for delegates attending the congress. Units assigned to review the assigned tasks so that the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Ninh Thuan province truly becomes a great festival for ethnic minorities in the province.
