Steering Committee meeting to implement Project No. 03 of the Provincial Party Committee on improving the quality of party members and admitting new party members for the period 2021

On the morning of June 26, under the chairmanship of Comrade Trieu Dinh Le, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Steering Committee to review the mid-term implementation of Project No. 03-DA/TU dated July 15, 2021 of the Provincial Party Committee on improving the quality of Party members and admitting new Party members; reviewing and screening to remove unqualified Party members from the Party for the period 2021 - 2025. Attending were members of the Steering Committee, Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, City Party Committee, and affiliated Party Committees.

In 2021 - 2022, implementing Project No. 03 of the Provincial Party Committee, the Steering Committee, Working Group and Party Committees at all levels have done a good job of leading and directing the implementation of the tasks and solutions of the project. The provincial socio -political organizations, district Party Committees, City Party Committees and affiliated Party Committees have proactively concretized the project with plans and strictly organized the implementation of the Provincial Party Committee's plan; clearly identified key tasks to focus on leadership, direction, proactively monitored the implementation of affiliated organizations to urge the implementation to ensure the set plan. The work of creating sources and introducing outstanding people to join the Party has received attention and focus, the entire Provincial Party Committee has admitted 4,199/3,810 Party members, reaching 110.21% of the plan; the work of evaluating and classifying Party members has basically been carried out seriously.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Trieu Dinh Le delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.

The screening and selection of party members were carried out with attention, promptly detecting,educating and assisting party members with limitations and weaknesses, and resolutely removing from the Party those party members who were no longer qualified and violated the Party's regulations and the State's laws. The district, city and provincial Party Committees screened party members, detected, screened and assisted 329 party members who violated, of which 35 were removed from the Party and 29 were expelled from the Party.

Acknowledging the results achieved after 2 years of implementing Project No. 03 of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Trieu Dinh Le commented that this was an initial result, members of the Steering Committee, Party committees at all levels need to make more efforts in implementing the project, raising awareness of Party committees from the province to the grassroots; pointing out limitations and shortcomings such as the quality of Party cell activities, the quality of Party members have changed but not yet sustainable; the issue of creating sources to train new Party members is not proactive in some places.

It is recommended that Party committees at all levels pay attention to creating sources of Party membership, this is a common responsibility of the youth union, members of socio-political organizations, the primary responsibility is the Party committee, assigning tasks clearly to challenge and then closely manage and monitor. Pay attention to maintaining the order of Party cell activities, must be comprehensive, strict, especially innovating the content of activities, strengthening thematic activities; strictly implement the management of Party member classification at the end of the year. Have a plan to assign tasks, help weak Party members; periodically evaluate and report on the results of experience in the activities of Party committees at all levels. Continue to improve the responsibility of Steering Committee members, especially Party committees in implementing the project, report any problems to the Provincial Steering Committee, well implement Project No. 03, together with the Provincial Party Committee to successfully implement the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025.
