Joining forces to develop Quang Binh tourism to its worthy status as a key economic sector

(QBĐT) - This afternoon, April 25, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to meet tourism businesses in 2025.

According to the report at the conference, in 2024, Quang Binh tourism recovered strongly with more than 5 million visitors, exceeding the set target and higher than the time before the Covid-19 pandemic.

In the first four months of 2025, the province is estimated to welcome more than 1.52 million visitors, up 4.8% over the same period last year; of which, international visitors reached nearly 66 thousand, up more than 10%. In 2025, Quang Binh aims to welcome 5.5-6 million visitors.

Quang Binh and Phong Nha-Ke Bang continue to be rated by domestic and foreign travel magazines and forums as one of the most attractive destinations in Vietnam.

Transport and tourism infrastructure is also being heavily invested in with many key projects, such as: Technical opening of the Bung-Van Ninh expressway, groundbreaking of the T2 passenger terminal of Dong Hoi airport and signing of a strategic cooperation agreement between Quang Binh province andSun Group.

At the conference, business representatives expressed their confidence in the recovery and growth momentum of the province's tourism industry, and acknowledged the efforts of provincial leaders and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in supporting and creating favorable conditions for businesses to carry out business, investment and start-up activities.
