Gas prices dropped by 5,000 VND/12kg tank

On the morning of June 1, gas businesses in Ho Chi Minh City officially reduced the retail price by VND5,000 for 12-kilogram gas cylinders according to the reduction in imported gas prices.

According to the announcement of Vietnam LPG Trading Joint Stock Company (PV GAS LPG Southern), the selling price of PetroVietnam Gas brand gas cylinders decreased by 417/kg (including VAT), equivalent to 5,000 VND/12kg cylinder and 18,765 VND/45kg cylinder compared to the selling price in May 2025.

Similarly, 12kg gas cylinders of brands such as Vina Pacific Petro, Vimexco, MT gas, Saigon Petro gas... all decreased by 417 VND/kg, equivalent to a decrease of 5,000 VND/12kg cylinder.

With this discount, the retail price of 12kg gas cylinders in Ho Chi Minh City is: 442,000 - 486,500 VND/12kg cylinder, depending on the brand.

Gas businesses adjusted their selling prices this time based on contract calculations (CP prices) in June, down 15 USD/ton to 585 USD/ton.
