Ninh Binh province completes the task of building new rural areas by 2024
Specifically, in Decision No. 1058/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister recognized Ninh Binh province as completing the task of building new rural areas in 2024.
The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; continue to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, focusing on economic and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.
Since 2011, Ninh Binh province has vigorously implemented the National Target Program on New Rural Development. By the end of 2024, Ninh Binh province has achieved 8/8 of the province's requirements to complete the task of building new rural areas.
Specifically, the whole province has 6/6 districts meeting new rural standards and 2 cities completing the task of building new rural areas. Notably, 2/6 districts have met advanced new rural standards and 76/119 communes (accounting for 63.8%) meet the criteria of advanced new rural standards.
Not only that, the rural landscape of Ninh Binh has also seen positive changes. On national and provincial highways, trees have been planted in more than 85% of qualified locations. This rate on district roads also reached over 72%. The average area of public green space in the province reached 6.51m²/person, far exceeding the minimum regulation of 4m2/person.
In addition, people's satisfaction with the service of State administrative agencies in 2024 reached 85.34%, higher than the prescribed level (80%). Ninh Binh province did not incur any outstanding debts in basic construction during the implementation of the New Rural Development Program.
These efforts have brought about significant changes in infrastructure and people's lives. The production value per hectare of cultivated land reached 160 million VND, higher than the national average. The average income per capita in the province in 2024 reached 73.21 million VND/year, of which the rural area reached 70.74 million VND/person/year. The poverty rate in the province decreased to 1.03%...
Thap Muoi district meets advanced new rural standards in 2024
In Decision No. 1059/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister recognized Thap Muoi district, Dong Thap province, as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2024.
The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Dong Thap province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directed the People's Committee of Thap Muoi district to continue to maintain and improve the quality of criteria, focusing on economic and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.
Thap Muoi district has completed 9/9 targets for building advanced new rural areas. 99.84% of people are satisfied with the results of building advanced new rural areas. Average income per capita reaches over 72.5 million VND/year. The total production value of some key industries, retail sales of goods and service revenue in Thap Muoi district in 2024 will reach nearly 14,900 billion VND, of which the agriculture - forestry - fishery sector is estimated to reach 5,575 billion VND...
Thanh Binh District, Dong Thap Province to Meet New Rural Standards in 2024

The Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Dong Thap province to be responsible for announcing and rewarding according to regulations; directed the People's Committee of Thanh Binh district to continue maintaining and improving the quality of criteria, focusing on economic and environmental criteria to ensure sustainability in new rural construction.
Thanh Binh District has chosen 2024 as a breakthrough year to complete the 5-year Plan 2021-2025 and strive to complete the targets to become a district meeting new rural standards. To date, the district has 12/12 communes meeting new rural standards. The work of government building, administrative reform, and digital transformation has seen many changes, creating a favorable environment to attract investment.
