BHG - Responding to the Month of Action for Children in 2025, Xin Man district actively implemented many meaningful and practical activities, ensuring the best rights and interests for children, especially children in difficult circumstances and children with disabilities.
In order to achieve high results in the Action Month, since the beginning of May, the People's Committee of Xin Man district has directed communes, towns, and related units to promote propaganda and implement many practical activities, demonstrating a sense of responsibility and deep concern for the care and protection of children. Thereby, contributing to raising awareness of the community, especially parents and caregivers, about the role of protecting and accompanying children in the process of growing up.

With concrete actions, Xin Man District Youth Union coordinated with Lien Viet Secondary School, Coc Pai town to organize a dialogue conference between students, teachers, parents and the Children's Council. The content revolved around issues such as: Building a safe, healthy, non-violent school environment; sharing learning methods and experiences or the need for additional facilities for learning... In Ta Nhiu and Nan Ma communes, they also coordinated with Plan Ha Giang to conduct communication on protecting children from violence, gender bias and connecting child protection services. Through the above activities, students have the opportunity to express their thoughts and aspirations about practical requirements for learning; helping them learn more basic knowledge and skills to protect themselves.
In addition, in communes and towns, all communes and towns cooperate with local schools to organize Children's Day Programs for students. Many cultural activities, sports , and folk games for children take place, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, helping children feel more clearly the love of all levels and sectors for them. In particular, with the desire to create a healthy and useful playground, helping children to exchange, learn, develop life skills, increase confidence and solidarity, Xin Man District Youth Union also organizes talent classes such as: MC, dance, organ, guitar, swimming, martial arts, fine arts and attracts the attention of many children in the area.
Giang Thi Chu, a 9A2 student at Nan Ma Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities, shared: “We are very happy and grateful to receive the attention, protection and love of the whole society. That attention is a source of motivation for us to strive to study better, contributing to building our homeland to be more and more beautiful and civilized.”
Also on this occasion, Xin Man District People's Committee coordinated with the Provincial Children's Fund, the Cardiovascular Center of Hanoi E Hospital and The VinaCappital Organization to examine and classify cardiovascular diseases for 1,035 children in difficult circumstances. The District Children's Fund also awarded scholarships to 315 students in especially difficult circumstances who excelled in their studies, each worth 1 million VND; and provided cash support for 114 children to visit and experience Uncle Ho's Mausoleum and some tourist attractions in Hanoi.
The Month of Action for Children is an opportunity for the whole society to work together towards a common goal that every child can live in a healthy, safe, and non-violent environment. To make this a reality, Xin Man District is making efforts every day so that the laughter of children in the highlands continues to resound under the protection and love of the community.
