BHG - With the goal of modernizing the admission process at the beginning of the school year, creating favorable conditions for parents of students in remote areas, Coc Re Primary Boarding School (Xin Man) is actively implementing activities to support parents in online registration for their children to enter grade 1 for the 2025-2026 school year.

According to Plan No. 06, Coc Re Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities conducts first grade enrollment for 38 students from 9 villages in the commune, through online registration at the Ha Giang Provincial Public Service Portal. This is a big step forward ineducational administration, but also poses many challenges for parents, because most of them are ethnic minorities, the elderly, and have not had much access to technology. In this situation, the school has established an online enrollment support team, arranging staff and teachers to be on duty every day to guide and help parents complete the procedures accurately and conveniently.

Teacher Nguyen Thanh Trung, Principal of Coc Re Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities, said: The school not only develops a systematic plan but also focuses on propaganda and specific guidance to each village. The admission support team is fully equipped with equipment, internet, and staff with expertise and training in information technology to directly support parents. The goal is to not let any student miss out on learning opportunities due to technological barriers.

Immediately after the 2024-2025 school year closing ceremony, the school organized a parent meeting and supported and guided parents of students who had completed the preschool program to prepare for enrollment in grade 1. At the school's enrollment application reception area, parents from Coc Cai, Coc Dong, Tong Tao villages... were directly guided by teachers to register online on the province's Public Service Portal. Ms. Vang Thi Soc, Tong Tao village shared: "I have a child who has just finished preschool and is living with grandparents. His parents are working far away, while we are old and have never used a smartphone to do paperwork, let alone online registration. At first, I was very worried, but when I got to school, the teacher guided and supported me, so I was able to register for my child." Mr. Chang Minh Khoa, Dong Thang village said: With the direct support of teachers, I feel more confident when using a smartphone to do administrative procedures.

In recent days, many teachers have come to school regardless of the weather, sunny or rainy, to support parents. Teacher Vang Thi Rui shared: There are cases where parents are illiterate and do not have smartphones. We support students in registering when they have all the necessary documents, from electronic certification of birth certificates to online application submission. Although it is difficult, I am very happy to see that I can help parents and students. The dedication and responsibility of the teaching staff not only demonstrates the spirit of "for beloved students" but also plays an important role in implementing digital transformation of education in the locality.

Online enrollment not only contributes to modernizing the management process, ensuring fairness and transparency, but also provides an opportunity for people to access technology. “We consider this a stepping stone for parents to get acquainted with online public services, thereby improving digital skills for the community. Most importantly, all students are guaranteed the right to go to school, regardless of whether their parents have access to technology or not. In the coming time, the school will continue to promote propaganda, coordinate with the commune government and kindergartens to synchronize data, update enrollment information accurately and promptly. Support activities will continue until the end of the enrollment period... Principal of Coc Re Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities Nguyen Thanh Trung shared more.
