This morning, April 20, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Military and Civilian Medical Liaison Committee of War Zone D to organize the 32nd traditional meeting of the Military and Civilian Medical War Zone D - Southeast Region. Attending from Ho Chi Minh City were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee - Nguyen Ho Hai; Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee - Ngo Minh Chau.
On Long An province side, there were Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department - Hoang Dinh Can; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa.
On the side of the Military-Civilian Medical Liaison Committee of War Zone D, there were People's Physician, Head of the Liaison Committee - Doctor Huynh Van Nhi; Former Director of the Department of Health of Long An Province, Head of the Military-Civilian Medical Liaison Committee of Long An Province - Doctor Tran Tan Tai. Along with more than 550 members of the Military-Civilian Medical Liaison Committee of War Zone D from the provinces of Long An, Binh Phuoc, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Ba Ria Vung Tau and Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Pham Tan Hoa emphasized that the Party, State and people are proud of and appreciate the extraordinary contributions of generations of doctors and medical staff participating in the revolution.
During the meeting, the delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of generations of revolutionary doctors and nurses from the Southeast provinces, who devoted their youth, youth and even their blood to the work of taking care of the health of cadres, soldiers and people on the arduous but heroic battlefield of the D war zone through the two resistance wars against the French and the Americans.

On this occasion, the Military-Civilian Medical Liaison Committee awarded scholarships to 10 medical students who overcame difficulties in Long An province. At the same time, the flag to host the 33rd meeting in 2025 was awarded to Ho Chi Minh City./.
