Hung Yen: About 700 students in difficult circumstances were awarded scholarships in the past 4 months.

On May 14, at the Provincial Conference Center, the Association for Promotion of Education of the provinces and cities in the Red River Delta (Cluster 3) held a conference on promoting education and a workshop on "Green Promotion of Education - Sustainable Direction for the Future".

Since the beginning of the year, the Association for Promotion of Education of provinces and cities in the emulation cluster No. 3 has done a good job of promoting education and talent. The lifelong learning emulation movement has been strongly aroused among the people, contributing to raising public awareness of the role of regular and continuous learning.

In Hung Yen , the province's Scholarship Fund currently has 42.7 billion VND. Since the beginning of the year, about 700 poor students and those in difficult circumstances have been awarded scholarships.

Promoting the strengths of the locality, in the coming time, the education promotion associations of provinces and cities will continue to replicate the models of building education promotion and talent promotion funds with many diverse forms. Thereby, organizing rewards and giving gifts to encourage students, workers, effectively contributing to the development ofeducation , education promotion and talent promotion, building a learning society in provinces and cities.

Mr. Nguyen Van Dong, Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial Association for Promotion of Education, spoke at the conference.

Also at the conference, delegates discussed and exchanged on the topic “Encouraging green learning – A sustainable direction for the future”. This is an educational model that combines encouraging learning and sustainable socio -economic development. This model aims to improve knowledge, help learners form awareness of environmental protection, apply “green” solutions to life and work, towards a sustainable future.

Green learning promotion includes three pillars: green thinking, green lifestyle and green skills, thereby aiming at green action, turning every daily learning, working and living activity into a practical action for the environment.
