Mr. Vo Thanh Giau, Chairman of Bau Bang District People's Committee, said that in May 2023, the District People's Committee directed the District Police to inspect the process and procedures for issuing certificates of residence information and notifying personal identification numbers at the police stations of communes and towns. Through inspection, the implementation of the process and processing time were ensured to be in accordance with regulations.
Hung Hoa Commune Police in coordination with the Commune Youth Union launched propaganda and guided people to install and activate electronic identification accounts.
In May 2023, Bau Bang District Police also received 1,570 records related to administrative procedures of people and businesses through the online public service system. Bau Bang District Police also coordinated with the District Youth Union to guide people to activate the identification of 18,554 accounts.
Currently, in Bau Bang district, there are 7 localities that have built a model to guide and register online public service accounts at the People's Committees of communes and towns. The District People's Committee has directed to promote propaganda work to raise awareness of Party committees, authorities, businesses and people about the necessity and practical benefits of Project 06, online public services, utilities when using electronic chip-embedded citizen identification cards, electronic identification and VNeID software so that cadres, civil servants, public employees and people actively participate in issuing personal electronic identification numbers, using online public services and other utility services to complete on schedule.
