Nho Quan District held a press conference on the forced land acquisition for the project to build the Cavalry Mobile Police Barracks and Cavalry Mobile Police Team No. 1.

Representative of Nho Quan district leader provided general information about the Investment Project to build the Cavalry Mobile Police Barracks and Cavalry Mobile Police Team No. 1 in the North under the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security .

Attending the press conference were representatives of the People's Committee of Nho Quan district, Phuc Son commune and reporters from central and local press agencies.

At the press conference, representatives of Nho Quan district leaders provided general information about the Investment Project to build the Cavalry Mobile Police Barracks and Cavalry Mobile Police Team No. 1 in the North under the Mobile Police Command, Ministry of Public Security.

The project was implemented in Son Ha commune (now Phuc Son commune), Nho Quan district with a recovered area of ​​40.25 hectares, 125 households were affected by the project, of which 91 households had their land recovered.

Delegates inspected the land subject to recovery.

Based on current policies of the State, the People's Committee of Nho Quan district has approved the compensation and support plan for households eligible for compensation and support for site clearance to implement the project. Up to now, the site clearance work of the project has been basically completed. However, as of April 18, there are still 5 households that have not received compensation and handed over the site to the investor to implement the project according to regulations, leading to slow progress of site clearance.

To ensure the strictness of the law and the progress of project implementation according to the prescribed time, the People's Committee of Nho Quan district has directed specialized agencies to complete the dossier, procedures and draft documents to serve the enforcement of the decision to reclaim land for the above 5 households. The expected time for the People's Committee of the district to carry out the enforcement is April 22, 2025.

At the press conference, leaders of Nho Quan District People's Committee also informed and answered questions from the press about the origin of the land, compensation plans, and support for households whose land was recovered. Leaders of Nho Quan District hope that the press will continue to coordinate with the locality, promote propaganda about land acquisition and clearance to households, and create consensus and support from the people so that the project can be completed on schedule.
