Tran Van Thoi district inaugurated two rural traffic bridges

Ca Mau Newspaper On April 26, Tran Van Thoi district solemnly held the inauguration ceremony and put into use two rural bridges in Khanh Hung and Tran Hoi communes, contributing significantly to socio -economic development and improving the lives of local people.

In Khanh Hung commune, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune coordinated with the Tuệ Tâm Gift volunteer group to organize the inauguration ceremony of the bridge in Kinh Dung A hamlet. The bridge is named Phu Hong Kim (Tuệ Tâm Gift No. 24), 50 m long, 2.5 m wide and 3.7 m clear water, with a total designed load of up to 2.5 tons.

This solid bridge spans the Coi Nhat canal, replacing the old bridge that has existed for more than 20 years and is now seriously degraded, causing many difficulties for people to travel and transport goods. The total cost of building the bridge in Khanh Hung commune is 300 million VND. Of which, Cong Duc Lam Phat Tu Pagoda and the Tue Tam Gift Group supported 200 million VND, the rest was contributed by the people and local authorities.

Representatives of the Tuệ Tâm Gift group, Cong Duc Lam Phat Tu pagoda and local authorities of Khanh Hung commune cut the ribbon to inaugurate Phu Hong Kim bridge (Tuệ Tâm Gift No. 24) at Kinh Dung A hamlet, Khanh Hung commune.

On the same day, in Hamlet 6, Tran Hoi Commune, the rural traffic bridge named Mon Qua Tue Tam 29 - Nhut Huy Bridge was also inaugurated in the joy of the people. The bridge is 24 m long, 2 m wide, with a total construction cost of 90 million VND. Of which, the construction unit Vu Anh and Mon Qua Tue Tam group sponsored 70 million VND, the rest was contributed by the local government and the people. Mon Qua Tue Tam 29 - Nhut Huy Bridge crosses Thanh Nien canal of Tran Hoi Commune, creating favorable conditions for travel and trade of people in the area.
