Infiniti QX70 - 10-year-old SUV for sale for nearly 1 billion in Vietnam

Once priced at over 3 billion VND in Vietnam, the luxury SUV Infiniti QX70 2015 is now being sold on the used car market for nearly 1 billion VND after 10 years of use.

Although it has been withdrawn from the Vietnamese market since 2021, the old Infiniti QX70 luxury SUVs are still sought after by many users in the market. With a price of about 1 billion VND for a 2015 model, this SUV model is in the same range as many new popular C-SUV lines such as Mazda CX-5 or Ford Territory but possesses a powerful V6 engine, sturdy chassis and many high-end technologies.

The 2015 Infiniti QX70 is currently for sale for VND980 million. The car was imported from Japan and has traveled about 92,000 km. When it was first sold in Vietnam, the Infiniti QX70 had a rolling price of more than VND3.4 billion. Thus, after 10 years, this car model has lost nearly 75% of its original value, a relatively large depreciation rate, reflecting the fact that the Infiniti brand is no longer operating in Vietnam.

The exterior of the car is still quite new, the 21-inch alloy wheels are shiny, showing no signs of deterioration despite the possibility of a thorough “spa”. The interior is also kept in good condition with a luxurious beige color combined with metal trim.

However, upon observation, the interior of the 2015 Infiniti QX70 has wrinkles on the leather seats – which is understandable for a used car. The car has electric retractable steps added, but the rest is mostly original.

In terms of amenities, the 2015 QX70 is fully equipped with modern features such as electric seats with memory, heating and cooling, dual-zone air conditioning, push-button start, sunroof and electric trunk – completely on par with today's high-end SUVs.

The most prominent feature of the QX70 is the 3.7L V6 gasoline engine, combined with a 7-speed automatic transmission and a full-time 4-wheel drive system (AWD). This engine produces 325 horsepower and 360 Nm of torque - remarkable parameters in the price range under 1 billion VND.

However, buyers of the 2015 Infiniti QX70 should consider because the car's fuel consumption is quite high, up to 20 liters/100km according to feedback from some users.

However, not all Japanese cars are easy to maintain. With models that have been discontinued in Vietnam such as Infiniti, users need to pay attention to the scarcity of spare parts and the limited number of experienced garages.

Some reputable addresses in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City still accept maintenance of Infiniti cars. These places support ordering spare parts from Japan and have appropriate technical teams.

In fact, within the price range of about 1 billion VND, many Vietnamese users are willing to choose a used Japanese luxury car instead of a new popular car.

Models like the Infiniti QX70 become “unique items” thanks to their distinct appearance, powerful engine and sporty driving feel – something that not every popular SUV can offer.
