According to GizChina , the latest report from leak expert Ice Universe said that the iPhone 15 Pro Max will be equipped with the Sony IMX903 sensor, which is a top-of-the-line sensor. The optical format of the Sony IMX903 is 1 / 1.14 inches, meaning that Apple will move closer to a 1-inch sensor, similar to what Honor did with the Magic5 Pro - the product currently ranked second in the DxOMark rankings.

iPhone 15 Pro Max may come with an impressive camera system

The Sony IMX903 will outperform Samsung's 200MP ISOCELL HP2 sensor, offering 20% more light capture and 14-bit DNG RAW support in hardware. The only difference between the sensors is resolution, with the Sony IMX903 being a 48MP sensor while Samsung's sensor is 200MP. Another leak from Digital Chat Station also suggests that the Sony IMX903 sensor could be more than twice as expensive as the Sony IMX989, despite being an inch smaller.

Ice Universe believes that this changes Apple's thinking for the mobile photography field. If everything is as the report says, the iPhone 15 Pro Max could become an excellent camera phone and potentially surpass the Xiaomi 13 Ultra or Galaxy S23 Ultra in terms of photo and video quality.

Not only the high-end main sensor, many other features also make the iPhone 15 Pro Max more interesting

While the camera is a key feature of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, it's not the only thing that makes it stand out. The device is expected to feature a powerful A17 Bionic chip, 5G connectivity, and a possible new design. Additionally, Apple is known for its focus on software, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max is likely to come with improved camera features and editing tools to enhance the user experience.
