The killer of a woman in an apartment building's basement was still playing video games while on the run.

On April 17, Long Bien District Police coordinated with professional units of Hanoi City Police and the Criminal Police Department of Hanoi Police to arrest Truong Viet Hung (born in 1988, residing in Thanh Chau A, Phu Ly City, Ha Nam ) to investigate the act of murder and robbery.

Initially, Truong Viet Hung confessed that he knew Ms. NPNQ (born in 1984, residing in Berrive apartment building, Bo De ward, Long Bien) but had many conflicts and arguments. After that, Hung had the intention of killing Ms. Q. and then committing suicide.

Knowing Ms. Q's living habits, at around 7:00 a.m. on April 12, Hung went to the apartment building where Ms. Q lived, waited in the lobby, and took the elevator with Ms. Q to the underground parking lot. Because Hung was wearing a mask, standing behind Ms. Q and looking down, Ms. Q did not recognize Hung.

In the apartment building's parking garage, taking advantage of the moment when Ms. Q. was not paying attention, Hung murdered the victim.

After killing Ms. Q., Hung took the victim's body to Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district. There, Hung searched and took 16 million VND from the victim and deposited it into his game account.

Hung then drove the car containing Ms. Q's body to the apartment building where she often went to the gym and left the car there.

During his escape, he played games in lane 390 Nguyen Van Cu. At 12:30, the suspect took a taxi to his friend's house in Cau Dien ward (Nam Tu Liem district) to rest and have dinner. At around 11:00 p.m. on April 12, he returned to Long Bien district to rent a motel room. On the way, Hung threw away Ms. Q's phone into the Red River.

On the morning of April 13, Hung continued to take a bus to Ha Nam to play video games. On April 16, the suspect was wandering on National Highway 1A when he was discovered and arrested by the police.
