The Shopping Season promotion fair, part of the Centralized Promotion Program - Shopping Season implemented by the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City, takes place from now until June 25 at Phu Tho Sports Stadium (District 11, Ho Chi Minh City) attracting thousands of shoppers every day.

Some items such as shoes, dried foods of brands Biti's, Vissan... are of great interest to customers. Currently, sports shoes and women's fashion shoes here are discounted from 30%-50%.

Ms. Le Thi Kim Tuyen, residing in Bac Hai Residential Area (District 10) said that she bought 2 pairs of satisfactory sports shoes for a total price of 1.5 million VND, while the original price was nearly 3 million VND.

Similarly, some shopping malls in the Vincom, Aeon Mall, MM Mega Market supermarket systems... also reduced prices on many fashion and food items to revive purchasing power.

According to information from the Vincom system, from now until July 2, all 83 shopping malls in this system will have big summer discounts on thousands of items, called "Vincom Red Sale - Red Shopping Festival 2023", with some items discounted over 50%... According to the shopping malls, thanks to promotions and big discounts, purchasing power has increased by 20-30% compared to normal days.

On June 22, at Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Area (Thu Duc City), Suoi Tien Cultural Tourism Joint Stock Company coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Friendship Organizations to summarize and award the 2023 Fruit Sculpting Art Contest.

The organizing committee awarded first prizes to four works by artists, including: Nguyen Phat Thanh with the work “Vietnam - heroic history”, Nguyen Ngan Giang with the work “Ho Chi Minh, the name lives forever with the mountains and rivers of Vietnam”; Lam Minh Tien with “Miraculous Buddhism”; Hoang Nghia with the work “Suoi Tien Farm - Green farm for a peaceful life”… At the same time, the organizing committee also awarded second, third and consolation prizes to the remaining authors.
