On January 2nd, 2025, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Kan province issued Decision No. 01/QD-SVHTTDL recognizing the classification of tourist accommodation establishments, thereby recognizing Son Nu Hotel as meeting 3-star standards for a period of 5 years.

To date, Bac Kan province has over 238 accommodation establishments, including 3 establishments meeting 3-star standards, but no hotels of 4-star or higher. By 2025, Bac Kan aims to welcome 1.3 million tourists, an increase of nearly 30% compared to 2024, with total tourism revenue reaching 1,000 billion VND.
