On September 5, in Thanh Hoa, Thanh Hoa Football Federation coordinated with Vietnam Football Federation to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024 primary level national football referee training course.
Taking place from September 5-10 with theoretical and practical modules, 60 trainees who are referees inside and outside Thanh Hoa province participating in the training course will be introduced to a brief history of football competition rules; basic issues related to football competition rules; referees' powers and responsibilities; basic professional knowledge of referees, refereeing methods and handling situations in managing matches; analyzing and answering questions related to laws, refereeing work and practical issues.
More than 60 students participate in the 2024 national football referee training course at the elementary level
Taught by referee instructors with extensive experience in teaching directly in the classroom such as Ngo Quoc Hung and Mai Hoang Trang, after completing the training course, qualified students will be granted a Certificate of Completion of the National Football Referee Elementary Training Program by the Vietnam Football Federation.
According to the Organizing Committee, through the training course, the aim is to build the football referee force of Thanh Hoa province and neighboring provinces and cities with the most basic and core knowledge and skills, meeting the needs of developing the football movement of localities; at the same time, promptly detect, orient training, and supplement resources for national football referees.
This is also an opportunity for students to exchange, learn, discuss and share good experiences and good practices in organizing, guiding training and running grassroots football tournaments, contributing to the development of mass sports in general and the football training movement in particular to achieve high efficiency.
