Opening Ceremony of Yaochi Palace Banquet

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hung presented flowers to congratulate the Grand Ceremony.

Attending the ceremony were Lieutenant General Tran Hoai Trung - Political Commissar of Military Region 7 Command; Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Ms. Nguyen Dai Thy - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Vo Duc Trong - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments, branches and localities.

Welcoming the delegation was Head Monk Thuong Tam Thanh - Head of the Cao Dai Holy See of Tay Ninh .

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Head Monk Thuong Tam Thanh said that the Dieu Tri Palace Banquet is held once a year on the 15th day of the 8th lunar month, the day when the entire religion gathers at the Ancestral Temple to offer offerings to the sacred Father and Mother. This year, there are 117 offerings on display. The offerings are meticulously prepared by the religious groups with many flowers and fruits, expressing their respect to the Creator.

Master Thuong Tam Thanh added that over the past year, Cao Dai followers of the Tay Ninh Holy See have strictly practiced their religion in accordance with the principles and guidelines of religious practice, cultivated morality, united in love, and strictly followed the laws of the country. In the first 7 months of 2023, Cao Dai followers in Tay Ninh donated about 5 billion VND to carry out social and charitable work. On the occasion of the Great Festival of the Dieu Tri Palace, the Holy See called on the entire religion to further promote the spirit of solidarity and humanitarian activities.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Duc Trong praised the positive contributions that the Cao Dai Holy See of Tay Ninh and the entire Cao Dai religion have achieved in the past time, contributing significantly to the socio -economic development of the country in general and the province in particular, adding to the beauty of morality and culture of Tay Ninh homeland.

The Church always shows its care and concern for the community of dignitaries, officials, and believers practicing their religion inside and outside the province. Thanks to the timely guidance and direction of the Church, religious work has had many remarkable developments.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Duc Trong praised the contributions of the entire Cao Dai religion.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also acknowledged that this year's Yen Dieu Tri Palace Festival not only attracted tens of thousands of followers, but also many groups of visitors and pilgrims from provinces and cities in and outside the country to attend. The above attraction is due to the roots of Cao Dai religion, which is oriented towards the national origin, containing many moral values that are not only meaningful in terms of spirituality but also have positive meanings in life.

On this occasion, central and local leaders presented flowers to congratulate the Cao Dai Holy See of Tay Ninh, visited the booths displaying offerings, viewed the Buddha's mother and the Nine Fairies floats, and danced with the Four Sacred Animals (dragon, unicorn, turtle, and phoenix).
