Opening of the "Logistics - Engineering Innovation Initiative" Contest in 2025

This year's competition has 18 outstanding initiatives from authors and groups of authors from agencies and units in the entire region selected from the preliminary round. The competition is organized in the form of displaying models, explaining initiatives and demonstrating practical operations, focusing on the following areas: Improving logistics and technical equipment for training and combat readiness; improving the efficiency of preserving and repairing weapons, technical equipment, management, operation and digital transformation.

Colonel Pham Quang Vinh - Deputy Commander of Naval Region 3 delivered the opening speech of the contest.

The participating initiatives all aim to maximize the features of existing weapons and technical equipment; improve work processes, save materials; have scientific applications, close to reality to serve the training, preservation, upgrading of weapons and equipment, serving the daily life of soldiers. Typical initiatives include: UDM torpedo voltage tester; equipment to keep the stairs up and down the ship; automatic temperature stabilizer and adjuster for desiccant and color indicator dryers; design and manufacture of automatic remote aiming system for B41 guns; equipment to test the operation of P-15U missile rudders, etc.

The jury evaluated the initiative of the UDM torpedo voltage tester of the Naval Region 3 Technical Assurance Center.

Speaking at the opening of the contest, Colonel Pham Quang Vinh - Deputy Commander of Naval Region 3 emphasized: In the past time, although the unit had to carry out many tasks at the same time, the officers and soldiers of the entire Region have promoted a good sense of responsibility, focused on investing their intelligence, took advantage of time and effort to research, and created many initiatives to participate in the contest.

For the contest to be successful, the Deputy Commander of the Region requested that units, groups, and contestants participate honestly, have the right motivation, be open-minded, eager to learn, and strictly comply with the regulations. The Organizing Committee and the Jury must work responsibly, impartially, and objectively, evaluate the substance of each content; run the contest according to plan, and ensure absolute safety.
