OPENING OF THE 24TH "CHILDREN PROPAGANDA, INTRODUCTION, AND BOOK STORYTELLING" CONTEST IN TRA VINH PROVINCE, 2020

In response to the Month of Action for Children in Tra Vinh province in 2020. On the morning of August 11, 2020, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and the Standing Committee of Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union to open the 24th "Children propagandizing, introducing and telling stories about books" contest in Tra Vinh province in 2020, at the stage of the Khmer Art Troupe Anh Binh Minh of Tra Vinh province. Attending the opening ceremony were leaders of the Propaganda Department of Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee; the Department of Culture - Society - People's Council of Tra Vinh province; the Department of Education and Training; the Department of Information and Communications; the Tra Vinh Provincial Youth Union; the Literature and Arts Association of Tra Vinh province; the Board of Directors of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Tra Vinh and representatives of the leaders of the Departments, Unions of the province, districts, towns, the Pedagogical Practice School; leaders of units under the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Dear teachers, parents, candidates, and supporters from districts, towns, cities, and the Provincial Pedagogical Practice School; Newspaper and Radio reporters came to record and report the news.

Contest entry of Cau Ngang district unit

The 24th Tra Vinh Province "Children's Book Propaganda, Introduction, and Storytelling Contest" in 2020 is an annual activity, so the contest is always highly appreciated for its quality. This year, 10 units participated in the contest. The Organizing Committee proposed the following contests: Team introduction; Storytelling based on books; Presentation, book introduction and talent contest (choose 01 performance: musical instrument, singing, dancing, ...).

The 24th Tra Vinh Province "Children's Book Promotion, Introduction and Storytelling" Contest in 2020 is an activity to promote the reading movement among children and create a friendly library environment to attract more and more children to the library. At the same time, it creates conditions for children to have a useful playground during the summer, to exchange and demonstrate their talents, thereby helping them improve their knowledge in study and life. The contest is expected to close and award prizes on August 13, 2020 at the Khmer Art Troupe Anh Binh Minh Stage./.
