Opening of the 31st Soc Trang Province Mobile Propaganda Festival, 2024

On the evening of May 6, 2024, at the Freshwater Lake Cultural Area, Soc Trang City (Soc Trang), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the opening ceremony of the 31st Soc Trang Province Mobile Propaganda Festival in 2024. Attending the opening ceremony were comrades: comrade Ho Thi Cam Dao - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrade Huynh Thi Diem Ngoc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Trang Province; leaders of departments, branches; leaders of districts, towns, cities and a large number of students and people.

This festival has 11 mobile propaganda teams from districts, towns and cities in the province. The teams perform a 30-40 minute art program including singing, dancing, and skits revolving around the theme of the National Target Program on New Rural Development, striving to set sustainable poverty reduction goals, restructuring the agricultural sector, and protecting the environment...

Regularly organizing mobile propaganda festivals is a solution to convey practical information in all areas of life and society, contributing to improving grassroots cultural life, building civilized urban areas, and building new rural areas according to the policies of our Party and State.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Tran Minh Ly - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Soc Trang emphasized that the effectiveness of the organization, with propaganda messages that have spread widely and have had a positive influence on the lives of the majority of people. Since then, many emulation movements, many advanced models, and many good production models have emerged in today's social life.

Immediately after the opening ceremony was a performance program by the Mobile Propaganda Team of Thanh Tri and Tran De districts./.
