Chairman of the Council of Kinh Bac University expelled from the Party for using fake degree

Informing Dan Tri reporter, the leader of the Inspection Committee of Bac Ninh City Party Committee said that this agency has just announced the decision of the Standing Committee of Bac Ninh City Party Committee to discipline Mr. Doan Xuan Tiep, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Council of Kinh Bac University.

The Standing Committee of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee found that, in his position as Secretary of the Kinh Bac University Party Committee (terms 2017-2020 and 2020-2025), Mr. Doan Xuan Tiep violated the regulations and duties of a party member, violated what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example.

Mr. Doan Xuan Tiep made dishonest declarations about his general education level, professional qualifications, and political theory level to ensure the conditions for admission to the Party and ensure the standards for cadres to recommend candidates and elect to the Party Executive Committee, the Party Standing Committee, and the Party Secretary of Kinh Bac University.

Mr. Doan Xuan Tiep was also found guilty of "using an illegal university degree to apply for and study for a master's degree abroad".

Assessing that Mr. Doan Xuan Tiep's violation was very serious, negatively affecting the reputation of the Party organization, the Standing Committee of Bac Ninh City Party Committee decided to take disciplinary action by expelling Mr. Doan Xuan Tiep from the Party.

This agency assigned the Organizing Committee of the City Party Committee, the Inspection Committee of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee, the Party Committee of Kinh Bac University and Mr. Doan Xuan Tiep to implement the above decision.

"We have been working very closely and are making a report to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee and the Bac Ninh Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee," said the leader of the Bac Ninh City Party Committee's Inspection Committee.

As Dan Tri reported earlier, the above incident originated from a complaint letter from Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hong, Vice President of Kinh Bac University Council, requesting the authorities of Bac Ninh province to clarify the case of Mr. Doan Xuan Tiep using a fake university degree.

Ms. Hong brought Mr. Doan Xuan Tiep's University of Mining and Geology Diploma No. 00107535, issued in the certificate book No. SD50-76 dated May 4, 2010 to the University of Mining and Geology for verification.

In the reply, the University of Mining and Geology stated: Mr. Doan Xuan Tiep, born on May 19, 1950, did not study at the University of Mining and Geology and is not listed in the original university diploma book of the school with the information recorded on the diploma.
