Opening of Agribank Mai Dam Transaction Office

(HGO) - On the morning of March 20, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) Hau Giang province branch held the opening ceremony of Mai Dam Transaction Office of Agribank Chau Thanh district branch and put into operation the CDM automatic deposit and withdrawal machine.

Mai Dam Transaction Office was established to promote economic development in the district, providing full banking services such as capital mobilization, credit, payment and many other products and services, meeting the needs of people and businesses. The operating area of Mai Dam Transaction Office is in Dong Phu commune, Mai Dam town, Chau Thanh district and customers in neighboring areas.

The inauguration of the CDM at Mai Dam Transaction Office not only ensures the suitability of management, but also expands the network of Agribank Chau Thanh District Branch, bringing Agribank's products and services closer to businesses and people in the district, creating momentum for further development in the following years. Up to now, the transaction office has implemented lending programs of over VND 505 billion, with 1,136 outstanding customers and attracted deposits of over VND 343 billion.

On this occasion, Agribank Hau Giang province branch sponsored 100 million VND to build 2 houses for households with difficult housing circumstances.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Viet Quyen, Director of Agribank Hau Giang province branch, said that the opening of the transaction office not only marked the expansion of the scale of Agribank Chau Thanh district branch, but also demonstrated the strong commitment of Chau Thanh district branch in general, as well as Mai Dam transaction office in particular, in serving and taking care of customers.
