Request to resolve feedback on SaiGon Gateway Apartment, report to Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee in June

Deputy Chief of Office of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Le Van Thanh has just signed a document to send to the Acting Director of the Department of Construction, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Thu Duc City People's Committee, conveying the direction of Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc on handling the reflections and recommendations of some residents at SaiGon Gateway Apartment, Thu Duc City.

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee received information reflecting and recommendations from a number of residents at SaiGon Gateway Apartment (702 Vo Nguyen Giap, Hiep Phu Ward, Thu Duc City), related to the management and operation of apartment buildings and the issuance of Certificates of land use rights and ownership of assets attached to land.

After consideration, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Van Duoc assigned the Acting Director of the Department of Construction to urgently preside over and coordinate with the Department of Agriculture and Environment, Thu Duc City People's Committee and related units to inspect and review the above-mentioned information and recommendations of residents to consider and take measures to completely handle the case in accordance with authority and legal regulations.

At the same time, publicly announce the settlement results to residents; report the implementation results to the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee in June 2025.

According to the reflection of residents living at Saigon Gateway Apartment, they urgently call for help because their lives are being seriously threatened because the fire protection system and the apartment elevator are constantly damaged and unsafe.

Residents also complained that more than 30 billion VND of maintenance fund and more than 4,000 square meters of common land in the project were appropriated.

According to residents, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (now the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development) of Ho Chi Minh City has separated the land title for the investor to sell twice, seriously violating the laws on land, planning, construction and housing. To date, residents have not been granted a pink book.
