Closing the market, VN-Index stopped at 1,336.3 points, up 3.7 points (0.28%) while VN30-Index was at 1,423.04 points, down 0.64 points (-0.04%).
The increase and decrease in stock prices were not too different. On the whole floor, there were 201 stocks in green and 125 stocks in red. In the VN30 group, the number of stocks increased and decreased were 16 and 13, respectively.

Large-cap stocks were quite weak this session. Of the 10 stocks with the largest capitalization, 7 decreased in price, only 3 increased in price. Of which, TCB increased by 1.31%, contributing the most to the VN-Index with nearly 0.7 points. On the other hand, Vingroup's stocks decreased, preventing the market from increasing further. VPL took away the most points with 0.61 points, followed by VHM (0.56 points), BIDV (nearly 0.5 points), VRE (0.4 points).
The industry groups increased and decreased equally. In the rising group, energy and production materials had the most positive performance, increasing by 4.44% and 2.04%, respectively.
Notably, in the real estate group, small and medium stocks performed outstandingly: PDR, DIG, SCR, HQC, LDG increased to the ceiling with a large amount of buying surplus at the ceiling price. In addition, many other stocks in this group increased in price.
Liquidity reached nearly 21,000 billion VND. Foreign investors bought nearly 1,626 billion VND and sold over 1,831 billion VND.
On the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the entire floor had more than 1,600 billion VND changed hands. At the end of the session, the HNX-Index reached 226.17 points, up 2.95 points (1.32%); the HNX30-Index increased 11.56 points (2.55%), to 465.08 points.
