Opening of Safe Agricultural Products Store and Disbursement of Farmers Support Fund

On the morning of August 10, the Provincial Farmers' Association coordinated with the Yen Mo District Farmers' Association and Yen Khanh District Farmers' Association to organize the opening of a clean agricultural products store in Yen Hoa Commune (Yen Mo District), and disbursed the Farmers' Support Fund in Yen Tu Commune (Yen Mo District) and Khanh Thuy Commune (Yen Khanh District).

Bac Tuyn Safe Agricultural Products Store is located in Trinh Nu 1 village, Yen Hoa commune, Yen Mo district, is a place to sell agricultural products with clear origin, OCOP products of the district, the province and some provinces and cities across the country. The products have been quality tested, certified to ensure food hygiene and safety by the authorities.

At the opening ceremony, the store owner pledged to strictly implement the regulations signed with the Association such as: providing customers with agricultural products from within and outside the province with clear origins, ensuring food hygiene and safety, being environmentally friendly, and safe for consumers' health; limiting the use of plastic bags and disposable plastic products in processing and business.

Bac Tuyn Safe Agricultural Products Store is the 5th safe agricultural products store in Yen Mo district and the 44th store in the province to be established and put into operation.

* On the same morning, the Provincial Farmers' Association coordinated with the Executive Board of the Farmers' Support Fund to disburse 2 loan projects from the Farmers' Support Fund in Yen Tu commune (Yen Mo district) and Khanh Thuy commune (Yen Khanh district).

Opening of Safe Agricultural Products Store and Disbursement of Farmers Support Fund — Leaders of the Provincial Farmers' Association visited the freshwater fish farming model supported by loans from the Farmers' Support Fund.

Accordingly, 20 members of the Intensive Freshwater Fish Farming Association of Yen Tu and Khanh Thuy communes are eligible and are considered for a loan from the Farmers' Support Fund with a total amount of VND 940 million, a term of 24 months, a fee of 8.4%/year, and a non-collateralized loan method.

The support fund will help members invest in production, build household economic development models, gradually escape poverty sustainably and enrich themselves legitimately while maintaining regular activities of the professional association.

These are meaningful activities to welcome the 7th Provincial Farmers' Association Congress, term 2023 - 2028, thereby affirming the role of the Association in local socio-economic development, supporting and improving people's lives.
