Opening of Vietnam tourism promotion office in Korea

(NLDO)- The number of Korean tourists to Vietnam ranks second, while Korea is also a market that many Vietnamese tourists love.

According to Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association Vu The Binh, the establishment of the Vietnam Tourism Promotion Office in Korea demonstrates the strong determination of the tourism industry in promoting and attracting Korean tourists, while supporting businesses in bringing Vietnamese tourists to travel abroad.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea Vu Ho also highly appreciated the efforts of the Vietnam Tourism Association, affirming that the promotion office will become an effective bridge to promote tourist exchange, expand cooperation opportunities between tourism businesses of the two countries and deepen the Vietnam - Korea friendship.

Tourism industry strengthens promotion to attract Korean tourists

On the opening day, the Vietnam Tourism Association organized a working program between Vietnamese enterprises and localities with 65 travel agencies and 13 Korean media units, followed by a Roadshow program introducing Vietnamese tourism destinations and products. A series of cooperation agreements were signed between enterprises and associations of the two countries, showing clear promotion effectiveness right from the start.

With advantages in landscape, culture and geographical distance, Vietnam is a familiar destination for Korean tourists, chosen by many famous Korean stars to visit or record TV shows. Currently, the number of Korean tourists to Vietnam ranks second. Korea is also a market that many Vietnamese tourists love.

The Vietnam Tourism Promotion Office in Korea will promote and support appropriate promotional activities in Korea for Vietnamese tourism businesses, contributing to further enhancing the growth of Korean tourists, as well as creating more favorable conditions for Vietnamese people to travel to Korea.
