Medical examination and free medicine for policy families and veteran members in difficult circumstances

BTO-On the morning of April 26, the Provincial Veterans Association, together with Saigon - Kim Cuong Phan Thiet General Clinic and Minh Nha Phan Thiet Optical Company Limited, organized a program to examine, provide health consultation, provide medicine, give gifts, and give free glasses to families with meritorious services to the revolution, war veterans, and disadvantaged people in Phan Hoa, Phan Hiep communes and Phan Ri Thanh town (Bac Binh).

On behalf of the working delegation, Mr. Pham Van Long, Chairman of the Provincial Association of War Veterans, shared the difficulties of policy families, families with meritorious services and the people; at the same time, he hoped that policy families, families with meritorious services to the revolution, members of the Association of War Veterans and people in difficult circumstances in the three communes of Phan Hoa, Phan Hiep and Phan Ri Thanh town would continue to try to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.

At the program, the delegation provided consultation, examination and free medicine to 250 people. Most of the patients who came for examination were elderly people, so they often suffered from diseases such as arthritis, gastritis, high blood pressure, diabetes, spinal degeneration, eye diseases, etc. In addition, the doctors also provided health advice, guidance on knowledge and skills for disease prevention, personal hygiene, thereby helping local people raise awareness, protect their health, pay attention to regular health check-ups, detect diseases early for timely and effective treatment.

Organize free medical examination, consultation and medicine distribution.

It is known that during this time, in addition to organizing medical examinations and health consultations, the delegation also provided free medicine, gifts, and glasses for 250 families of policy beneficiaries, members of the Veterans Association in difficult circumstances, and donated books to poor and studious students. The total cost was 150 million VND, sponsored by the Provincial Veterans Association, Minh Nha Optical Company Limited, and Saigon - Kim Cuong Phan Thiet General Clinic.

This is one of a series of practical activities of the Provincial Association of War Veterans, demonstrating comradeship, team spirit, gratitude towards families of policy beneficiaries and those who have contributed to the cause of national liberation and national reunification, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Binh Thuan homeland (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025), 50 years of the complete Liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
