It is known that Mr. Thao "lui" is a person with a "social reputation" in Binh Thuan .

The source said that this search was to serve the investigation into the issue of many individuals and business representatives who filed complaints against Mr. Thao "lui" for destroying property, including houses and projects in the locality.

As reported by VietNamNet, Dai Thanh Quang Company (headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City) has been sending urgent petitions and denunciations everywhere for nearly 2 years about the King Sea complex resort project in Tien Thanh commune (Phan Thiet City) invested by this company, which was blatantly occupied by a group of people led by Mr. Thao "lui" who built solid structures on the land.

According to Dai Thanh Quang's appeal for help, in September 2021, taking advantage of the Covid-19 epidemic situation, when the locality implemented social distancing, Mr. Thao "lui" and a group of about ten people brought motor vehicles, bulldozers, well drills, concrete mixers and materials to the land to build camps and fences on an area of about 2 hectares that Dai Thanh Quang company had been leased by the government and granted a land use rights certificate...

The local government has repeatedly invited the parties to mediation. Dai Thanh Quang Company asked Mr. Thao to prove his ownership of the location and area of land being affected, and the company would compensate. However, there is no legal evidence to confirm the above sale.

The Binh Thuan provincial government has issued many instructions to resolve the matter. However, the constructions built by Mr. Thao on the land still exist.
