The Vietnam Heart Festival - 50 years of unity is organized by the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Promotion Organization (VJCP) in collaboration with Vietnamese associations and communities in the Kansai region to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.
The event was sponsored by the Consulate General of Vietnam in Osaka and the Higashi Osaka City Government, with the participation of artists from Vietnam and Japan. On the Vietnamese side, there were Tung Duong, Isaac, and Duyen Quynh.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang - Deputy Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) shared: "I feel proud to be able to turn to my homeland and my compatriots in a place far away from Vietnam but feel like I am in my own country. That is thanks to the Vietnamese people in Japan, despite being far from home and facing many difficulties, they still strive to do something together to connect, share and promote the image of Vietnam".

Tung Duong invited the audience to stand up to salute the flag and sing the National Anthem.
In a clip recorded by the audience, Tung Duong invited all the audience to stand up to salute the flag, put their arms on their chests and sing with him the most sacred national anthem of Vietnam.
A large number of overseas Vietnamese, from children to the elderly, from the Vietnamese Consul General in Osaka Ngo Trinh Ha to workers and international students - stood up, hands on their chests, facing the stage where the singer was standing. The atmosphere was solemn, the singer's voice and the audience's voices blended together.
Tung Duong shared that "singing the national anthem in Japan was a special moment, an indescribable feeling in my career."

"I am happy to sing among the red flags with yellow stars and Vietnamese people who are far from home but still always turn their eyes towards the Fatherland," Tung Duong said.
In addition to the National Anthem, the singer also performed the songs The Road We Take, Rebirth, A Round of Vietnam, and Ben Tren Tang Lau .
It is the special feelings in Japan that make the singer cherish the idea of performing a solo live show in Osaka or Tokyo, singing for the audience there in the near future.

Standing on a Japanese stage singing about Vietnam, looking at thousands of red flags with yellow stars fluttering, the artist felt a surge of national pride. Here, Duyen Quynh said she clearly felt the spirit of solidarity, love and admiration for the strength of our overseas compatriots.
